The purpose of this blog is to update friends and family of the Kinkora contingent traveling to commemorate the Battle of Ortona in Italy, November, 2008.
It seems there was no internet connection at the current hotel, but all will be back online tomorrow when the group returns to Rome. We were away tonight when Ian phoned so we only received a quick message with no updates on how the last two days went. Sigh, leave it to a man!! There should be news and hopefully more photos tomorrow. See you then!

I obtained my Education degree at the University of Western Ontario. Since then I have worked in Northern Ontario, Nova Scotia, London, Ontario and now P.E.I. I love teaching Special Education and Resource at any grade level and look forward to working with all students. This year we've added Homework Club to Room 213 which has been a great success!

Sara, I'm so disappointed that I missed your call:( but glad you got to talk to dad. Wish it had of been better weather in Ortona for the ceremony, sounds like you guys got a taste of what the soliders went through all those years ago. Safe trip home for everyone,love you, see you on Friday.
